What

Participants will need a few small waterproof toys or objects to serve as “treasures.” These can be placed at the bottom of the pool.

How

Bonus Challenges

To increase difficulty:

  1. Increase the depth at which treasures are placed.
  2. Add more obstacles, such as floating rings or hoops that swimmers must swim through to reach the treasures.
  3. Ask swimmers to perform a specific underwater skill, like swimming a short distance on their back, before retrieving the treasure.

Super Bonus

For an extra challenge, have swimmers perform a quick underwater somersault before surfacing with the treasure.
