Handstand rewind

One-Liner

Push off the wall toward the T mark as if you're going to do a handstand, but instead push on the ground so you launch back at the wall and hit it with your feet.

Success Criteria

You successfully launch back to the wall and hit it with your feet.

Failure Criteria

You don't make it back to the wall or you lose control during the movement.

What

A challenge where you push off the wall toward the T mark, then push on the ground to launch back and hit the wall with your feet.

How

  1. Start at the wall in a push-off position.
  2. Push off toward the T mark as if starting a handstand.
  3. Instead of completing the handstand, push on the ground to reverse direction.
  4. Launch back toward the wall and aim to hit it with your feet.

Difficulties Instructors Might Face

Swimmers may struggle with timing the push on the ground or lose balance during the rewind. Ensure they have a solid handstand foundation before attempting this challenge.
