Swim Team

  1. How to set up the pool and lanes for short distance stroke work
  2. Break up into groups
  3. How the format works
  4. Action, move over in lane, return to line
  5. Go when person in front of you has moved out of the way
  6. What are the instructions you should give your swimmers
  7. Typcially 3x [Item 1] + [Item 2]
  8. Why 3 times? It is easy to remember, gives about 5-7 minutes of activity
  9. Be as clear as possible
  10. What theCoachesshould be doing during
  11. Constant feedback for every swimmer
  12. Swimmer checks with coach after each attempt
  13. What is next? Do a set which incorporates what you just did.
