Success Criteria
Participants successfully create a clear, logical pool setup that accommodates all given classes and equipment, and they can explain their reasoning to their group.
Failure Criteria
Participants cannot fit all classes and equipment into the pool outline, or their setup creates safety or comfort issues for swimmers or instructors.

Who
This challenge is designed for swim instructors, lesson coordinators, or aquatic staff who need to practice organizing pool space for multiple class levels.
What
The participants will draw a picture of how they would arrange the pool, the benches, and the toys for different levels of classes.
How
- Create a basic outline of your pool. Give everyone in your small group a blank piece of paper with the outline printed on it.
- Draw where the following classes would go with these benches and toys:
- 4 level 1 classes, 12 swimmers
- 1 Level 2 class, 2 swimmers
- 1 Level 3 class, 6 swimmers
- 5 benches
- 10 kick boards
- 4 sets of fins for each size.
- Compare and discuss your pictures with your group members. Explain your reasoning and choices.
Difficulties Instructors Might Face
- Not having enough space or resources for all the classes.
- Not considering the safety or comfort of the swimmers or the instructors.
- Not following the guidelines or standards for class placement or equipment usage.
- Having conflicting or inconsistent ideas with other group members.
